Arapahoe Area Foundation
The Arapahoe Area Foundation was established in 1991 for the purpose of receiving, administering, and disbursing funds for community betterment. The Pioneer Project for the Foundation, the Ella Missing Community Center and Scholarship, was made possible by a generous bequest. It was fortunate that one gift was sufficient to complete the entire project. But more importantly, the Foundation Provides a means through which many gifts, large or small, can be aggregated to accomplish together what a few can do individually.
The Goal of the Foundation is to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Arapahoe and the surrounding area by making it a better place to live by administering gifts and contributions. Projects will be selected and completed to meet the specific instructions of donors and/or according to the recommendation of the local advisory board.
The Arapahoe Area Foundation is a non-profit organization meeting the requirements of section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. This insures that your gifts are fully tax deductible under the IRS Tax Code. A Gift to the Arapahoe Area Foundation is an investment in the future of the community and the area we love.
There are many ways in which you can make your charitable contribution to the Arapahoe Area Foundation.

DEFERRED GIFTS
Bequests or trusts-a gift given through a will whereby a donor specifies a dollar amount or percentage of the estate to be transferred to the foundation.
