The Arapahoe Chamber of Commerce is currently made up of 69 small businesses & organizations who serve the community and surrounding areas.
1871
On May 10, 1871 a party of men known as the "Arapahoe Town Company" promoted and led by Captain E.B Murphy, established the town of Arapahoe, along the Republican River Valley.

School district 18 was formed in 1874 and by 1880, 100 students were crowded in the one room log building. By 1883 the school building, a church, and the post office were being utilized to teach 150 students.

The Arapahoe Chamber of Commerce was officially incorporated on December 14, 1967 with the first meeting documented in a June 2, 1910 issue of The Public Mirror.
